Web Sites
What we can do for you…
Your website is where customers land just before they decide to buy. We build sites that look right, load fast and make it easy for people to do what you want them to do, wrapped around the right platform for your business, not ours.
Websites are our thing. We've been building them since dial-up, and we know what actually works.
Your website is where customers go just before they decide to buy. It needs to look right, load fast and make it easy for people to do what you want them to do. But before any of that - we need to understand your business.
The right solution, not the easy one
A lot of agencies have one platform they know well and fit every client around it. We don't work that way.
Before we recommend anything, we take the time to understand how your business works, where the friction is and what you actually need a website to do. Then we find the best fit - whether that's a bespoke build, WordPress, OpenCart, Magento or something else entirely. The platform serves the brief, not the other way round.
What we make your website do for you
Every site we build is designed around your business, your customers and your goals. It'll look good, work properly and be consistent with your brand. You'll be able to update it yourself, or we can handle that side of things too.
Why Motley?
We're not a one-trick shop. Our job is to wrap the right solution around your requirements - not squeeze you into whatever we happen to sell.
If you're ready to talk through what you need, get in touch.
I was worried they'd think I'm a fusspot as I happen to be a bit of a perfectionist! Not once did they make me feel that way. They helped me understand what they were doing and why, made any changes I requested as it was developed… nothing was too much trouble even if it wasn't the norm.
What it costs
Brochure sites are typically £3,000 to £5,000 and online shops £5,000 to £10,000. You'll have a fixed figure before we start, and it covers everything we've agreed. If the job changes, the price changes in the open, never on the invoice.

One email a month...
Most months we publish a handful of articles about running a website: what things cost, where the money goes, what's changing in search and which bits of AI are worth a small business's time. Once a month we gather them into a single email. It waits in your inbox until you have ten minutes spare, whether that's the same day or the end of the month.
